the effect of e-64 on the developmental competence of sheep cocs during in vitro maturation
in the present study, the effect of e-64 at different concentrations (0.5, 1, 5 and 10 µm) added to (1) the ivm medium on oocyte nuclear maturation and developmental competence of ovine oocytes, and (2) to the ivc medium on embryonic development of ovine embryos were investigated.

Histological Changes during the Development of the Bovine Nuchal Ligament
The histological changes occurring during the development of the bovine nuchal ligament have been observed in sections of formalin-fixed material from 21 animals ranging in age from 110 days of gestation to 10 yr. The elastic fibers which constitute the bulk of the adult ligament were initially few in number. During fetal development, the fibers showed a rapid increase both in number and in the...
متن کاملChanges in circulating and testicular levels of inhibin A and B and activin A during postnatal development in the rat.
This study describes the testicular levels of inhibin/activin subunits by Northern analysis and in situ hybridization and serum and testicular levels of inhibins A and B and activin A by enzyme linked immunosorbent assays (ELISA) during postnatal development in the rat. We show that serum inhibin A levels are less than 4 pg/ml throughout postnatal life. Serum inhibin B levels peak at 572 +/- 11...
متن کاملPostnatal development of spatial coding in the gravity sensing system
The critical maturation time of central otolith neurons in processing spatial orientations was examined in Sprague-Dawley rats. With the use of immuno-hybridization histochemical methods, we observed c-fos expression in vestibular nuclear neurons responding to transverse movement on the horizontal plane as early as P7 and those to antero-posterior stimulation as early as P9. In the inferior oli...
